The human body undergoes many physical changes during adolescence. During adolescence, the human body develops many postural, traumatic and structural changes which carry on to adulthood.

Our team at Spinal and Sports Care have always focused on early detection of these changes and trying to minimise problems which may arise in the future. We understand that each adolescent’s growth is unique and develops at different stages but we aim to correct spinal and peripheral biomechanics to help alleviate any growth changes.

Our team work on evidence based management and therapy during adolescence by regularly screening for any early signs of scoliosis and alleviating any acute or chronic injuries. We strongly promote preventative care by encouraging an active physical lifestyle and educating our adolescent patients on improving mobility and posture.
